Competition
"What does a wild peacock look like?"
INSIDE THE COMMUNITY ARTS CENTER
Local schools competed for ribbons and prizes! The school whose winning entry is selected as Best of Show, received $250 for their school Art Department! The winning Best of Show artist received a gift basket of art supplies from the CAC. First place, 2nd place and Honorable Mentions were also named.

WHY PEACOCK ISLAND?
Legend has it, that the Island on which our church and community arts center sits was once home to hundreds of wild peacocks!
Whether it's true or not, we thought how wonderful it would be to celebrate the arts with our Island community's "unofficial" mascot!
